相信您已經接到老師或班級聯絡人通知了，有鑒於今天芝加哥有一個武漢肺炎病例確診，加上昨日有兩起疑似病例，為了保護老師家長還有學生，所以學校決定取消人數聚集的園遊會，並更改為明天9點上課，並提前在11點放學。

感恩各位家長理解這次為此必須接受這很大的變化球，取消孩子最愛的園遊會，但是我們愛心不落人後，再次呼籲大家能夠響應這次的義賣活動，讓我們也可以分享我們的福氣更多的人。

這個連結可以讓您瀏覽這次義賣的項目，並且可以直接在網站上競標，義賣持續到2/1，我們將會各別通知得標人。義賣所得將捐給慈濟國際賑災專戶，先謝謝大家了。

The carnival will be cancelled due to the increase concern on the Corona Virus in the community. Your students will be dismissed at 11 am.

If you can not pick up students at 11 am, please let your teacher know.

New Year Silent Auction 1/25/2020

Dear Parents,
 
Happy New Year! It is year 2020, year of gold Rat, we will celebrate it on the first day of new year as well.
 
The theme of this year’s event is “誠正信實為大地, 慈悲喜捨為和風” - With sincerity, integrity, faith, and honesty as the soil, With kindness, compassion, joy, and equanimity as the gentle breeze. We hope that all students are nourished and inspired by these qualities in their young mind.
 
The new year event will be on 1/25. Besides games bazaar and school-wide pot-luck,  there will be fundraising silent auction particularly for those less fortunate who suffer from the disasters around the world. In order to offer more time for you to view the auction items, you may view the whole list of items on a webpage and start bidding by clicking links next to the item on the spreadsheet below.

Date: 1/25/2020
Time: students should arrive at 9:00 am, anyone needs to leave before 12:00 pm will be marked partial attendance.
#Meet your teacher/class in your classroom when you arrive at school in the morning.
#Pot-luck is class-oriented, please consult your teachers or room parents for details.
#Leave your food on designated tables in the cafeteria.
#Bring your reusable utensils/bowls/plates for lunch.

Urgent Notice: No School on 12/7/2019

Dear Tzu Chi Parents,
 
Bellevue School District and Tillicum Middle School just informed us this morning that they are going to have Advanced Learning Test in Tillicum Middle School on the coming Saturday, the December 7th. Therefore, we will not be able to use the entire building and have to cancel school at the last minute.
 
We are still working on rescheduling with Tillicum and will send out the update as soon as possible.

Parent Photography class will be cancelled as well.

Thank you again for your flexibility.

The Welcome letter will be emailed on and after 8/31 to the emails when you register your students. Please contact registrar as soon as possible in case your email address is changed so you don't miss the notice from school.

First Day of School will be 9/14/2019.

Dear parents,

Tomorrow is the last day of Tzu Chi Academy this year and please still send your students to school on time at 9 am.  

There are two important events will affects parking and traffic around school area. So if you want to get a parking spot close to the school and attend event on time, please plan to arrive earlier.

1. Please do not park on school bus stalls in north lot.
2. There is a bike ride event close to Tillicum Middle School, so please exercise patience and caution as you make your way to school. 

Tonight, we just finished setting up the Gym and get ready for the Closing Ceremony tomorrow. All families are welcome to join the Ceremony start at 10:30. Please arrive 10 min earlier.

Registration Process - Please read carefully

今年的註冊已經開始，在校生的家長應該已經收到網路註冊單的連結，註冊的流程請務必詳讀此檔案。

請注意：如果家長在學期末沒有完成家長志工服務時數，將會影響您學生的就學資格。

2019 - 2020 在校生註冊將在春假後按照班級順序開始

在校生註冊手續：必須完成以下步驟，才算完成註冊手續。

      1.     家長為每位學生填寫網路註冊單  (link will be emailed to parents no later than 4/15, please check your mailbox/junk mails)

      2.     在規定日期至註冊組繳交註冊費，先在註冊組領號碼牌

      3.     學費及制服費只收支票，抬頭：Tzu Chi

      4.     家長要完成今年每位孩子六小時的服務時數，才能完成註冊

各年級繳交註冊費日期如下，有兩個孩子以上的家庭可以同時辦理繳費：

  Ø 4/20 幼幼班、注音班

  Ø 4/27 一至三年級

  Ø 5/4  四至九年級

新生與插班生註冊手續：

  註冊組會按照現有名額個別通知，並寄出註冊連結及註冊程序。

Current Students Registration procedure: All the following steps are required to complete registration.

1.     Submit online registration form for each student (link will be emailed to all parents no later than 4/15, please check your mailbox/junk mails)

2.     Come to school on designated payment date, get a number ticket first so you don’t have to stand in line.

3.     Submit all payments to registrar. Checks only, payable to TZU CHI

4.     Parents need to fulfill the service hours for the current school year, 6 hours per child.

Payement dates for each grade as follows:

Ø 4/20  current students of pre-school to phonetic classes

Ø 4/27  current first grade to fourth grade

Ø 5/4    current fifth grade to ninth grade

New Students Registration procedure:  Registrar will contact the parents directly for further details.
